    “Dr Mohssen Chabok gained his undergraduate medical degree from the Tehran School of Medicine in 2006. He then continued his postgraduate studies at Imperial College London and completed his MSc in Vascular Ultrasound with Distinction in 2010.”

    Dr Chabok worked in the private sector for 5 years as Clinical Manager for UK and Ireland and was subsequently promoted to Clinical Director. His role involved overseeing community clinics across UK and Ireland offering education and screening for cardiovascular conditions. He successfully established major research projects between the private sector and world-renowned research institutions such as the University of Oxford and Imperial College London.

    Following this, he completed his research in the field of Cardiovascular Medicine leading to a PhD from Imperial College London.

    Dr Chabok completed his training in the London North West Thames cardiology rotation, specialising in Interventional Cardiology and General Internal Medicine. He was appointed the Interventional fellow at the tertiary cardiac centre – Hammersmith Hospital.

    He was appointed as a Cardiology Consultant at Harefield Hospital as well as the Hillingdon NHS Foundation Trust. He contributes to the busy Primary Angioplasty on-call service at the Harefield Hospital which provides 24/7 care for heart attack patients.

    Research interests

    Dr Chabok’s research interests include a ​​​​​​proactive approach to community-based, early disease detection and prevention of asymptomatic cardiovascular conditions such as high blood pressure, Diabetes, Coronary Artery Disease, Atrial Fibrillation related Stroke, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, Carotid artery disease and peripheral Vascular disease.

    Teaching

    Dr Chabok is a graduate training assistant who teaches postgraduate students at Imperial College London.
